This institutional millwork project brings warmth and sophistication to a traditionally sterile educational setting through the inventive use of solid maple tambours.
Used in a completely new and unique way, the tambours align seamlessly creating a continuous, textured surface that conceals hinges and hardware, resulting in a refined, hardware-free appearance.
The complexity of applying the tambours across casework and man doors, while integrating all metal components—including shelves and trim—was a technical achievement.
The clear maple tambours, maple veneer, MDF gold core and brushed brass, were expertly combined to deliver a warm, inviting, and highly sophisticated result.
The project exemplifies innovation, precision, and exceptional craftsmanship.

Rhythm & Howl captures a cozy, modern take on the mountain retreat. With its dark wood interiors, rustic textures, and bold, playful design, it offers a fresh and inviting interpretation of alpine hospitality—warm, textural and full of character.
The extensive architectural millwork package included all bar millwork, a pizza and wine display, wood ceilings, beams, booths, a central banquette, custom tables, and a striking lobby entrance.
Material choices played a key role in shaping the space—featuring rough sawn fir, split fir firewood, live edge fir accents, and wire-brushed trim.
The result is a cozy and welcoming space—a bold and inviting take on the mountain lodge, brought to life through expert craftsmanship and thoughtful detail.

This warm, textural space brings together natural finishes like reclaimed timbers, solid knotty white oak, wool, leather, rugged split-face stone, and blackened steel to create a tactile, moody palette.
The millwork scope was extensive: custom wall and ceiling panels, exposed beams, upholstered banquettes, a feature stair with a distinctive guardrail, bar and back bar shelving, wine display, and custom furniture. One of the standout elements is the sculptural host stand—hand-carved with a chainsaw and finished with butterfly inlays.
The result is a richly layered interior that blurs the line between cozy mountain lodge and elevated hospitality, brought to life through exceptional millwork.

The built-in furniture—designed to look like freestanding heirlooms—feature bold shapes, sculptural legs and gleaming gold hardware that add richness and flair.

The Mission Group Head Office is a true showcase of innovation in architectural woodwork.
At the heart of the design is a breathtaking feature wall that is a sculptural map of Kelowna, complete with CNC engraved street names and curving contours that mimic the city’s actual layout. The BMO Centre Expansion is nothing short of extraordinary. What truly sets it apart is the sheer magnitude and precision of the custom millwork, executed with technical excellence and artistic vision.
From the soaring 40-foot ceilings in the 50,000-square-foot ballroom to the immersive details of the Exchange and Brand Rooms, every element of the woodwork is a feat of engineering and design. In the Champions Ballroom alone, over 4,000 custom spruce-veneered baffles conceal complex infrastructure high above the convention floor.
Throughout the project, blackened steel and brass inlays of the Calgary Stampede’s Big Four brands are embedded into wood columns, floors, and desks. This was achieved through advanced CNC programming and precise, detailed handwork.
The Exchange Room features the largest fireplace in Canada and the Brand Room showcases charred Shou Sugi Ban wall paneling and oversized doors wrapped in black leather cowhide and boot stitching.
In total, the project used more than 2 million square feet of spruce veneer and solids, with custom millwork integrated into nearly every element—concierge desks, acoustic treatments, shelving systems, and upholstered features.
