Delta Hotel Pods
Millwork Designed by: Chil Interior Design // Project Managed by: EllisDon
The Delta Hotel feature millwork pod with climbing rope was truly a design build and had to be structurally sound and self-supporting, withholding the tension of actual SPF-03 professional climbing rope.
The pods were crafted from white oak beams and intertwined with climbing rope and acoustic panels, fostering a vibrant and social ambiance. The unique angles and curved perimeter added complexity to this build as each pod had to be intricately designed to bridge the gap between fashion and functionality which was a fun part of the custom architectural millwork scope.
This complex build integrating 3,000 feet of climbing rope into this masterpiece showcases impeccable engineering and manufacturing. The use of utilitarian materials is novel and the end result of this millwork feature is striking and memorable.
