AWMAC SOUTHERN ALBERTA AWARDS OF EXCELLENCE
The Awards of Excellence program recognizes the importance and impact that architectural woodwork plays in enhancing the quality of life within the built environment of our communities. These awards honor excellence in architectural woodwork design and manufacturing with the goal of advancing the appreciation and exposure of quality architectural woodwork.
Did you complete a project that you are proud of? We encourage you to submit it for consideration! Past winners of these awards include both large and small firms, emerging new talent, and established individuals.
We will be accepting entries for projects that were preferably completed between January 1, 2025 and April 30, 2026 in 2026.
Judging will be completed by an anonymous jury made up of a diverse group of leading industry professionals. Judging will be based on some or all of the following criteria depending on the category: creativity, innovation, cohesive elements, visual impact and manufacturing degree of difficulty. Each project is judged independently with project scores being numerically tabulated to determine the overall rating for each project.
Winners will be announced at the upcoming 2026 Awards of Excellence Gala on Friday October 23, 2026.
